Write an essay explaining the 5 kinds of good hooks described in the video shared in class.
Your essay should be 7 paragraphs long.Your intro should hook your reader!
The 5 body paragraphs should define each of the good hooks and offer an example for each.
Use The Odyssey as your consistent example. Use xenia as your theme.
Mr. Sato uses Macbeth as his consistent example and honesty as the theme.
250 words minimum (NO ONE should have an essay this short)
600 words maximum
No banned words, contractions, or dialogue
NOTE: Mr. Sato warns against using "dictionary quotes." I agree, but a quote that fits your topic can be wonderful You must make sure that the quote fits your essay by topic and in tone. You must use appropriate transition sentences to make sure there is a proper flow.
